to honor the memory of Craig Weinberg, who suddenly passed away this past July, and lend support to his wife Sheryl Cosma Weinberg and their two boys. JEL played favorites like Dreams and What Kind Of Mood and inspired renditions of No One Like You from the Trynity project and Taste the Rain, the title track from Jeff’s new album.
Bass player Tony Germinario who orchestrated JEL's involvement with the benefit said "It was great to get back together with everyone and make some music. We got to play some old songs as well as some that no one ever heard before. It really got the juices flowing...".
“Given the gravity of the cause, we wanted to make sure we gave them something to smile about for a little while. After seven years it felt so good to be up there with these guys.” Jeff said.
The band thanks Bobby Paller who provided sound, his wife for the camera work, Lead Guitarist Paul Fernandez for being such a pro and everyone who had a hand in producing a great event. Our hearts are with Sheryl and sons. Given the turn out for the event and the enthusiasm and warmth of those who attended and performed, it’s apparent that they are truly not alone.
